Good morning, this is Mr. Belcik, the 7-8 ELA teacher here at CHATA. I wanted to inform all parents and guardians how we will be proceeding through this break from school. For this week and next, you can expect to have your children to have online assignments via Google Classroom. These are reading and writing assignments using CommonLit. These are excellent practice materials for your children. I am available all day in case your children have any questions.

To log in to Google Classroom, your child needs to sign in with their user ID number and @columbushumanitiesata.org and then their school password. If for some reason your child is missing their ID or password information, I can get you that information. Keep in mind, students can complete this on any device that connects to the internet. When assignments are completed, I will be sending the feedback to the students through Google Classroom.

I know this break has forced us all to be flexible in making it all work, so I want to thank you all and reaffirm that I would love to answer any and all questions if you have them. I hope you are all safe and healthy while we are out of school. I look forward to seeing all of the children back in school as soon as possible. Thank you.
